A STORY INSPIRED BY REAL HOPE

The Girl with the Golden Ribbon

Austen has always loved ribbons. But when life suddenly becomes filled with hospital rooms, doctors, and days that require more courage than she knew she had, one golden ribbon begins to mean something more.

As kindness appears in unexpected places, Austen discovers that courage doesn't always mean being fearless—and sometimes the greatest hope comes from carrying a little of it for someone else.

A heartfelt picture book about courage, kindness, childhood cancer, and the hope we carry for one another.

One ribbon. One act of kindness. One way to carry hope.

Carry Hope With Us

Inspired by The Girl with the Golden Ribbon, the Carry Hope With Us campaign invites readers, families, schools, hospitals, and communities to share hope and kindness in honor of children affected by cancer.

Tie a ribbon. Share a story. Do something kind.

Because none of us should have to carry the hard things alone.
